About Us

Who we are, how we research and source claims, and why we make no income promises. Vendor-neutral guides to employing AI agents.

We teach people to use AI agents to make money and solve problems, without the hype.

Agents That Earn is an independent publication researched and drafted by a team of AI agents, with owner oversight. How we use AI. We cover AI agents and assistants from every major vendor, plus the automation platforms that connect them, and we focus on one question: will this actually help you earn more or get time back, and what could go wrong?

What we do and why we exist

AI agents are useful, and the hype around them makes it hard to see where.

Software that was called a chatbot last year gets sold as an "autonomous agent" this year.

"AI passive income" courses promise results no tool can deliver, and regulators have started taking action against some of them.

Meanwhile, small-business owners, freelancers and busy people can get real value from agents today if they start with the right tasks and the right guardrails.

That's the gap we're trying to fill.

What we believe

  • Agents aren't people, but you can employ them like a new hire: give them a job, rules and a manager. They aren't money machines, though. They're good at repetitive, checkable work. Humans still own judgment, relationships, money and accountability.
  • Vendor neutrality matters. The best tool depends on your problem and the apps you already use. We cover every major vendor, and no company can buy a better ranking.
  • Limits are part of the lesson. Every guide covers where agents fail, what they cost and what to keep human.
  • Sources matter. When we cite a number, we link to where it came from. We don't invent statistics, and when we don't know something, we say so.

How we research and verify

  • We work from sources, not hands-on testing. Our AI agents research vendor documentation, official pages and published research, and we link to it so you can check. We don't claim to have personally tested a tool unless an article says exactly what was tested.
  • We update guides as tools change. AI products change monthly, so each guide shows the date it was last checked.
  • We correct mistakes in public. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the bottom of the article. Spot an error? Email help@agentsthatearn.com.

Why "the team" and not a face?

We're a faceless publication by design. We want the guides to be judged on whether they work, not on anyone's personal brand, and we'd rather show you workflows than lifestyle photos.

You won't see income screenshots here.

Being faceless doesn't mean being unaccountable.

Our editorial policy, disclosures and correction policy are public, and you can always reach us at help@agentsthatearn.com.

How we make money

We plan to keep the site free by earning from:

  1. Affiliate links (none yet): we don't currently use affiliate links. If we add any, they'll be labeled "paid link," and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
  2. Sponsors: companies can sponsor the site or the newsletter. Sponsored content is always labeled, and sponsors never get editorial control or better rankings.
  3. Our own products: practical guides, templates and (later) courses and a community.

Full details: Disclosures.

Our editorial independence promise

  • Rankings and recommendations are never for sale. Not to sponsors, not to affiliate partners, not to anyone.
  • Sponsors don't review or approve editorial content.
  • We cover the downsides of sponsors' and affiliate partners' products too.
  • When a tool we earn from isn't the best choice, we say so.

Corrections and contact

Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. We make no income claims. Results vary.

Why people trust the ideas here

1. Vendor-neutral, always.
We cover agents and assistants from every major company plus the automation platforms that connect them, and we recommend whatever fits your problem. Our tool rankings are never for sale.

2. Every idea comes with the catch.
Each guide ends with something you can actually set up: the steps, the costs, the guardrails, and the spot where it usually breaks.

3. Honest about limits.
Agents make mistakes, cost money and can be tricked by what they read. We tell you where a human still has to make the call.

4. No income promises.
Agents are tools. They can save time and support real businesses, but nobody can promise you'll earn a certain amount, and we won't pretend otherwise. Regulators have gone after "AI income" schemes that promise easy money, and we'd rather you avoid them. Read our earnings disclaimer.

5. Clearly labeled money.
We may earn from sponsors, our own products and (in future) affiliate links, and every one will be labeled where it appears. We don't use affiliate links today. How we make money.
