Disclosures
Affiliate, sponsor and earnings disclosures. Results vary; we make no income guarantees. How we handle sponsored content.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
We want you to know exactly how Agents That Earn makes money and how that could affect what you read. Short version: we may earn from affiliate links, sponsors and our own products. We don't currently use affiliate links; if that changes, we'll label every one. None of it decides what we recommend.
Not legal advice. This page explains our own policies in plain language. It isn't legal, financial or tax advice to you, and it isn't a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
1. Affiliate links
We don't currently use any affiliate links on this site or in our newsletter.
If we add them in future, here's how they'll work: if you click one and buy or sign up, we may earn a commission. It would cost you nothing extra.
How we'll label them:3 items
- Affiliate links will be marked "paid link" next to the link itself.
- Any article containing affiliate links will carry a disclosure at the top, before the first link.
- In the newsletter, affiliate links will be marked the same way.
We use "paid link" rather than just "affiliate link" because the U.S.
Federal Trade Commission has noted that many people don't know what "affiliate link" means, while a clear label next to the link tells you what's going on.
What affiliate relationships would never change:3 items
- Which tools we recommend, or how we rank them
- Whether we mention a tool's drawbacks
- Whether we recommend a free or cheaper alternative (we often do)
We cover plenty of tools we earn nothing from, and we'll recommend a non-affiliate tool whenever it's the better fit.
Current affiliate partners: none.
2. Sponsors and sponsored content
Companies can sponsor Agents That Earn. Current sponsors are listed on our Sponsors page, and the tiers and rules are on our Advertise page.
How we label sponsored content:4 items
- Sponsor logos are labeled "Sponsor."
- Sponsored newsletter sections are labeled "Sponsor" at the start of the section.
- Sponsored lessons and showcase pages say "Sponsored" at the top, before the content begins, and name the sponsor.
- Featured Partner badges always appear with a visible "Sponsored" label.
Our editorial independence rules:5 items
- Tool rankings are never for sale. Sponsors can't buy a higher ranking, a better review or inclusion in a "best of" list.
- Sponsors don't review our independent articles before they're published.
- For sponsored lessons, the sponsor may check factual accuracy (such as prices and feature names) only. They can't change our conclusions.
- We'll still cover a sponsor's drawbacks in our independent content.
- We decline sponsors that promise income, sell "passive income" programs or make claims we can't stand behind.
3. Free products, trials and press access
Vendors sometimes give us free accounts, extended trials or early access so we can evaluate their tools.
When that affects an article, we say so in the article.
Free access doesn't buy coverage or a positive review.
4. Our own products
We sell our own guides, templates and (in the future) courses and a paid community.
When we mention our own products, it's obvious that they're ours.
We won't present them as independent recommendations.
5. Earnings disclaimer
We make no income claims, and nothing on this site guarantees that you'll earn any money.6 items
- The workflows, business models and examples on this site are for education only. They aren't promises or predictions of results.
- Most new businesses earn little or nothing at first, with or without AI. Many never become profitable.
- Your results depend on many things we don't control, including your skills, effort, experience, market, timing, capital, the tools you use and plain luck.
- When we describe time savings or productivity results from research, those are findings from specific studies about specific groups of people. They aren't typical results you should expect.
- We don't publish income screenshots and don't let sponsors use them.
- If you're considering buying a business opportunity, course or "done-for-you" AI business from anyone: get earnings claims in writing, ask for evidence of typical results, and be wary of "passive" or "guaranteed" income. In the U.S., sellers of certain business opportunities must give buyers a disclosure document before the sale under the FTC's Business Opportunity Rule. The FTC has brought cases against schemes that promised AI-powered passive income.
6. No professional advice
Agents That Earn publishes general educational information about AI tools. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your situation before making decisions involving money, contracts, taxes, health or legal compliance.
AI tools make mistakes. Check anything important that an AI tells you, and follow the terms of service and laws that apply to the tools and data you use.
7. AI-assisted content: how we use AI ourselves
Agents That Earn is produced with AI agents. A coordinated team of AI agents (for research, writing, marketing and SEO) finds topics, researches public web sources, and drafts our articles, guides and templates.
The site's owner sets our policies and oversees what we publish, but there is no named human author, and individual articles are not necessarily hand-tested or line-edited by a person.
We link to our sources so you can check them, and AI can make mistakes: verify anything important before relying on it.
Spotted an error? Tell us and we'll fix it. We're responsible for everything we publish.
8. Questions or concerns
If you think something on our site isn't properly disclosed, please tell us at help@agentsthatearn.com. We'll fix it.
